 | The Auto Installer will not allow a step that has completed successfully to be run again. In certain situations, such as applying the upgrade to multiple databases, the error log file parmmod.dat must first be deleted before the upgrade can be re-applied. |
| Prior to running the upgrade, the Upgrade Guide MUST BE CHECKED FIRST. Periodically, vital steps are left out. These can be run manually or can be added by editing 'param.dat' |
| Not all steps need to be run in order to complete the upgrade. Certain steps, such as the ERRCMD steps and import of HELP menus may be skipped. |
